Simon Rasmussen for Terminal 2
11 Feb 10
Simon styled both the Terminal 2 Trend show and these campaign images for the Terminal 2 Fair, shot by BLINK colleague, Sune Czajkowski.
The Terminal 2 Press Show held Feb 11th 2010, at Terminal-2 was a great succes.
Simon says:
It was a challenge as I had to look through 50 very different brands and still find a flow and connection. I decided to give the show 3 themes:
Theme 1 - City Hunters Rich people with attitude and a smirky grin, some have beard, a little muscular - the style is "big city" slick/street wear with a clear reference to "hunter outfits" and accessories - for instance neon hunter-vests, hunter hats, hunter boots, hunting glasses, knee socks - all in all details, which implies that the models are going hunting - for girls, a new party or the next meal.
Theme 2 - Ghetto Sailor Boys and men age 20-35 with even more attitude, tattoos (body size does not matter). The style is more laid back compared to theme one. It is more sloppy/lazy, like a sailor how is expecting to refer to the port. He wears stripes both vertical and horizontal, rainwear - accessories and tank tops. He has dirty fingers, smells of fish, is ready for a fight and then sails on.
Theme 3 - Frontrow Gypsies Spliced young boys with a bold attitude - with wild hair and a unique look, tattoos. The style represents boys from all around who knows fashion. Their "game" is to hustle through life, a modern version of a gypsy, just with a more serious style and perky. They mix all sorts of clothing's, all colors (they like colors) - there are no rules when concerning fashion or life. For instance they like to mix blazers with sweatpants, shirts with sneakers, t-shirt with tuxedo pants... the gypsy never receives an invitation for any arrangements but you still see him everywhere, always on front row...
The images for the Terminal 2 Fair where shot by Sune Czajkowski, and refers directly to the themes and styles presented on the show.
