Søren Solkær Starbird's solo-exhibition at Øksnehallen opens today!

Under the title CLOSER, photographer Søren Solkær Starbird shows us 326 portraits of leading Danish artists and some of the worlds biggest rock stars, that he has photographed throughout the past decade. Starbird immortalizes the meeting with the person behind the star - and embraces both upcoming bands and legendary artists.

Expect decadence, humour and drama when facing the portrayed artists, which include names such as U2, Björk, Led Zeppelin, Amy Winehouse, Oasis, The White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Patti Smith, Paul McCartney - just to name a few!

Events such as live concerts with Psyched up Janis, The Raveonettes and Peter Doherty, plus rock documentaries will take place in Øksnehallen during the run of the exhibition that lasts until April 26.
